Amazing museum. The fist place I've been. I could touch most of the exhibits. Plus there awesome planes! Best part is the simulator. I would recommend visiting.

NOTE: I recommend to call ahead to verify which gate to use for entry as security changes have gone into effect. The "back gate" is on Blue Angel Parkway and the "front gate" (main gate) is on Navy Blvd. The National Museum of Naval Aviation is a wonderful place to take a family and is great for all ages. There is no charge to park as well as free entry. The exhibits are all free and some are hands-on too. The iMax and flight simulator do cost money as does the food/snack bar. It is a 2-story building with stairwells and an elevator. The newer building out back is a wonderful addition. There's guided tours indoors, as well as the ability to ride the trolley/bus for a tour of the restricted areas around the Museum (complete with someone describing and narrating what you see and where yo go). If you're looking for a great place to visit where you can leisurely read, view, learn about and experience the history of Naval Aviation I highly recommend going here. I'm Pensacola born & raised, I've been here numerous times.... and I still get just as excited for each subsequent visit!

This was one of the best museums I've ever been to. It is very clean and everything is displayed beautifully. The staff is very professional and the attraction is great. Overall would go back anyday.

Great place for anyone with an interest in aircraft. My 2 year old was amazed! You can get into some of the planes. There is a flight simulator and you can experience a flight with the Blue Angels. And it's FREE!
