Tues nights are only $4.50. And two for one. They didn't clean in beteeen novies and noone took our tickets. But suoer cheap and kids enjoyed different experience. Reccomend!
My husband and I really wanted to see The Avengers. We went over the different times and price options at The Rave and decided that we could see the same movie for half the price at Silver Screen. Let me preface by saying that I've been a customer of Silver Screen for about 15years. We thought that since it were a Sunday afternoon the place would be deserted... WRONG! Fully packed. About 15-20 minutes into the movie a worker comes and takes the chairs in front of us and the extra chairs from the patrons behind us who had smuggled in some outside candy. The worker then threatens those patrons with the police. Apparently the worker got confused and pushed my purse out of the way and grabbed my candy that was purchased there and also allowed some random guy to sit in the chair in front of me with such haste that he sat on my arm as I was grabbing my sweater. This guys phone went off several times disrupting our experience. Several babies cried during the duration of the film. I am 6 months pregnant and get up to use the restroom every 45 min. The isles had people standing in them and several large men were allowed to sit blocking the exit while several kids stood for lack of sesting thus making trips to the restroom impossible! One guy sealed a cigarette cellophane with marijuana right there! Never will we return. It's like the white trash capital of Pensacola!
We will not go back! This place is disgusting! We ended up walking out before the movie started. You sit at a table of four in uncomfortable chairs that are broken! The management and staff are beyond rude and raised their voice and swore in front of children! Very disgusting! Also be aware of the tiny sign that is almost unreadable that says all sales are final. With this place you get what you pay for. I would advise you to go anywhere else before the Silver Screen Theater!!!
One of the last great movie theaters. Enjoy pizza and a beer while you watch your movies. Prices are great!! Just wish they still showed older movies instead of new releases.
The Silver Screen has become a family tradition for me. We will always go to the silver screen if we can possibly help it. They are an older and smaller theater so they dont do 3d and some of their fixtures are in less than prime condition but for their prices and atmosphere, you can't beat it! Not to mention the fact that they serve good food including pizza and hot wings AND they provide you the option of alcohol.
