Took my husband here for his 30th birthday while visiting NYC. The restaurant is beautiful, the views were breathtaking, the pianist was delightful and the food was delicious, but I was most impressed by the service. The staff was very attentive. I hadn't told anyone that it was my husbands birthday, but our waiter overheard me telling the guest next to us.. When my husband went to the rest room, the waiter asked me for his name. They brought us desert wine and yummy donut holes with "Happy birthday, Eric" written on the plate. It was a perfect dinner for his 30th and to have only found the restaurant through google searching, I was extremely happy with the whole experience.
Great food, great view, great service. If anything a little pricy, but hey, worth it.
Fancy high end restaurant that is reasonable on prices (it is still expensive, but not crazy expensive). Food was good, views where great (overlooking the corner of central park), and the service was very professional. Would definitely come back to again, when in NY.
Wonderful ambiance. Recommended for dates! Also good for small groups. I went for lunch on a Wednesday so there was a lunch special menu for $35, 3 courses. The corn soup with avocado was perfection. Great start to a meal. Main course I got the salmon, which was decent but nothing too special (glad it wasn't over or undercooked nor over or under seasoned). Last course was dessert - cheesecake! Loved the cheesecake. It's not too fluffy not too dense and not too cheesy. It was topped with a grapefruit sauce of some sort giving the cheesecake a gentle little tang kick. Highly recommend the cheese cake.
Waitstaff was lovely. Celebrated mom's 82nd birthday. Did was great. View of Columbus Circle was awesome. Cocktails were delicious. Didn't feel rushed, they let us linger and enjoy our birthday lunch.
